As the spiritual leader of the diocese, Bishop Banja provides pastoral oversight and guidance to the clergy and congregants of St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe. He plays a central role in shaping the spiritual direction and vision of the Cathedral.
The Very Rev. Canon Jonathan Kisawuzi
As the Dean of Namirembe Cathedral, Canon Kisawuzi oversees the day-to-day operations of the Cathedral and provides pastoral leadership to the clergy and staff. He ensures that worship services, programs, and activities align with the Cathedral’s mission and values.
Rev. Abraham Muyinda Nsubuga
Rev. Nsubuga serves as the Vicar of Namirembe Cathedral, assisting the Dean in the pastoral care of the congregation. He plays a vital role in leading worship services, preaching sermons, and providing spiritual guidance to parishioners.
Rev. Joseph Luvumu
Rev. Luvumu supports the Vicar and Dean in various pastoral and administrative duties. He may assist in leading worship services, conducting pastoral visits, and coordinating ministry programs within the Cathedral.
Rev. Samuel Muwonge
Rev. Muwonge fulfills a dual role as the Diocesan Mission Secretary and a curate at Namirembe Cathedral. In addition to assisting in worship services, he is responsible for coordinating mission initiatives and outreach programs within the diocese.
